Requirements

The Group Publishing Director will have the strategic publishing and market insight necessary to hit the ground running in developing a publishing strategy for the newly merged organisation. We are looking for someone who can lead a team of talented commissioning editors in delivering this strategy: both leading by example in personally making high-profile and profitable acquisitions to the list; and motivating and supporting the team in meeting challenging acquisitions targets in line with the new publishing strategy.

The successful candidate will be a publisher with proven success in delivering a profitable publishing strategy and in commissioning prominent and profitable titles, and excellent agent connections.
